WHAT WE DO?
Davis Wind Lift System is a Patented, self-erecting, high capacity crane that operates off of a rack & pinion climbing platform. Coupled with its moving counterweight Load Management system, this is a Safer, Higher, Less Costly alternative to large crawler cranes for setting wind towers and turbines.
DW165 model is tailored specifically to set 4.2 MW nacelle, 136 mton (300k lbs) in a single lift all the way up to 165 meter (545 ft). The system can be scaled to virtually any height and lift capacity desired; far beyond the 100 to 120 meter (330 to 395 ft) tower heights in common use today.
